Ultimate Therapy Services seeks a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join Autumn Lake at Ocean View in Ocean View, NJ. The role involves implementing the plan of care under the supervising OT and helping skilled nursing residents relearn daily tasks.

Responsibilities include organizing sessions around goals, coaching residents in dressing and grooming, applying therapeutic activities to improve upper-extremity function, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy Assistant license and COTA certification.
• Ability to deliver treatment within an established care plan and follow individual precautions.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
• New graduates welcome to apply and SNF experience is a plus.

Ultimate Therapy Services is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Autumn Lake at Ocean View. Help skilled nursing residents rebuild familiar skills and learn new approaches to daily tasks, providing hands‑on treatment under the supervising Occupational Therapist's plan of care.

What You'll Do

• Organize treatment sessions around the functional goals established by the OT.
• Coach residents through dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting, providing assistance and cueing suited to their needs.
• Use prescribed therapeutic activities to address upper‑extremity function, coordination, and endurance.
• Practice adaptive equipment techniques and energy conservation strategies with residents during everyday tasks.
• Keep the supervising OT informed of changes in performance, participation, and treatment tolerance.
• Document services clearly and share relevant strategies with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues to support consistent care.
