Valley Manor Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The role focuses on delivering individualized occupational therapy under supervision to improve residents’ independence.

Ideal candidates hold a state license, NBCOT certification, and have experience in skilled nursing or long-term care. We value strong communication and teamwork within an interdisciplinary care setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed COTA in the state with NBCOT certification.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and daily activities.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, functional tasks, and adaptive techniques.
• Educate residents and caregivers on treatment goals and safe techniques.
• Monitor and document residents’ progress accurately and timely.
• Report changes in resident condition to the supervising OT.
• Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians as part of the care team.

Valley Manor Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team.

For more than 50 years, Valley Manor has served the local community by providing high-quality post-acute care, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and long-term care services. Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to improve residents’ strength, coordination, mobility, and ability to complete daily activities

• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, functional tasks, and adaptive techniques

• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and safe techniques

• Monitor and document residents’ progress accurately and timely

• Report changes in resident condition or performance to the supervising Occupational Therapist

• Assist with the use and training of adaptive equipment

• Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences

• Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, physicians, and other members of the care team

• Follow facility policies and all applicable state and federal regulations
