Job summary

MOLARI Employment and HealthCare Services is seeking a detail-oriented Housing Compliance Specialist for a direct hire role in downtown Pittsfield, MA. You will guide residents through income recertifications, calculate rents, prepare compliance documents, and maintain audit-ready files in a supporting team environment.

This full-time, Monday–Friday position offers a stable schedule and opportunities to grow in affordable housing compliance, with required Occupancy Specialist Certification

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent customer service.

• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Associate's Degree preferred; housing/administrative experience desired.
• Occupancy Specialist Certification required within one year of hire (training provided).

What You'll Do

• Guide residents through annual and interim income recertifications
• Calculate rent and housing assistance payments accurately
• Prepare and process required compliance documentation
• Maintain organized, audit-ready resident files
• Explain eligibility requirements and answer resident questions with professionalism and empathy
• Monitor deadlines and ensure ongoing compliance with HUD and other affordable housing program requirements
• Prepare reports and work closely with internal staff to maintain accuracy

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has strong organizational and administrative skills
• Enjoys providing excellent customer service
• Communicates clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Is comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
• Has strong attention to detail and enjoys accurate recordkeeping
• Can manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
• Has an Associate's Degree (preferred) and/or prior human services, housing, or administrative experience
• Occupancy Specialist Certification is required within one year of hire (training provided)
