Primary Function: Responsible for performing various patient care activities and related non-professional services to care for the needs and comforts of patients. Responsible for transcribing physician orders, performing receptionist and clerical duties, and coordinating non-nursing services within the unit. Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and observe all hospital policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications and Requirements: Vocational/technical training and more than six months of job-related experience or equivalent are required. Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, basic computer skills, and medical terminology are required.
