Job summary

Elm-Terrace-Gardens is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our skilled nursing team. You will assist residents with daily living activities and provide basic nursing care under RN/LPN supervision in a supportive, resident-centered environment.

We offer both part-time and full-time shifts (7-3am, 3-11pm, 11p-7a). Excellent communication and teamwork are essential to ensure high-quality care and a positive atmosphere for residents.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification current in the state of employment.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Compassionate, patient and respectful attitude is essential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and stay organized.
• Ability to stand and assist residents for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision of RNs/LPNs.
• Monitor health status and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable resident environment.
• Document care provided accurately and timely.
• Support residents' emotional well-being and promote a positive atmosphere.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols.
