Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA

Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

PT Weekend DAY

Friday-Sunday DAY

FT MON-SUN EVE


PT SAT-SUN NOC

Shift Differentials: $1.00 for Evening Shift and $1.50 for NOC Shift

Responsibilities

  • Check each resident routinely to ensure personal care needs are met according to their wishes.
  • Review patient care plans daily for updates or changes.
  • Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident’s condition for documentation.
  • Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activities, social programs, and transportation to appointments.
  • Create a warm, patient, and cheerful environment.
  • Ensure residents’ rooms are ready and comfortable.
  • Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident information per HIPAA guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with charge nurses, the director of nursing, and the administrator.

Qualifications

  • Have a 10th-grade education or higher.
  • Be a licensed certified nursing assistant in this state.
  • Have a passion for caregiving and improving residents' quality of life.
  • Speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Hold an active CPR/BLS certification.
