Job summary

Washington Soldiers Home, part of the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs, seeks a Nursing Assistant Certified for full-time night shift. You will help provide skilled nursing care to veterans, document vital signs, and support daily living activities.

The role requires WA CNA license, OBRA status, and ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Two night-shift schedules offered, with a premium shift differential and Longevity rules in place. WDVA promotes diversity and veteran-focused care.

Qualifications

• Current valid Washington State license to practice as a Nursing Assistant Certified.
• Active OBRA status required.
• Must lift up to 60 pounds and reach 36 inches.
• Six months of health care or direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering nursing and nursing-related care to Veterans.
• Record vital signs and chart in electronic medical records.
• Observe changes and report to licensed nurses.
• Assist with therapies under supervision and perform daily living activities.
• Transport residents and manage basic nursing procedures under direction.
