Job summary

Aperion Care in Dolton, Illinois seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential resident care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help maintain comfort, dignity, and safety for residents.

You will work closely with nursing staff, follow care plans, and participate in on-the-job training. Part-time positions are available, with benefits after the first calendar month and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant license in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to take additional training as states may require.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable while handling multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Be able to perform all functions under your active license or certification or as it pertains to your assigned duties.
• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their care plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Know how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
• Be willing to take on other duties and assignments within the scope of your knowledge and experience.
