Job summary

Silver Birch Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join GateWay at River City in Peoria, IL. In this role you will provide hands-on, compassionate care and daily support to residents to help them feel comfortable, respected and well cared for.

You will be part of a caring community with a focus on health, happiness and quality of life for residents. Prior healthcare experience and a current CNA license are preferred; a strong customer service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Current CNA license in good standing.
• Prior healthcare experience is helpful.
• Strong customer service skills and a caring attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services to residents as outlined in individual care plans.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Deliver friendly, respectful customer service to residents and families.
• Respond to call lights and resident needs in a timely manner.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the Wellness Team.
• Document care and assistance provided in the electronic health record.
