Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant for our Canistota, SD facility. The role provides resident-centered care under RN supervision, assisting with daily living activities and basic health care tasks in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include documentation, communication with the nursing team, and participation in wellness programs. A CNA certification is required or obtained within four months, with strong emphasis on infection control and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• CNA certification required or in process within four months
• Continuing education credits: 12 hours annually

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision
• Assist with bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility
• Document resident interactions and changes in condition; report to charge nurse
