Qualifications

• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant license per state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (10th grade) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident assessment and care plan under supervision.
• Identify residents before treatments/medications using wristband or photo ID.
• Record observations accurately on flow sheets, notes and charts.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any data breaches.
• Assist with daily living activities and monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Report accidents, injuries, or changes in residents' status to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Prepare resident rooms and assist with transfers, meals, hygiene and mobility as needed.

Education

10th grade education or equivalent

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license

CPR certification (preferred)
