Responsibilities

The CNA in the Telemetry Department assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred

Facility-Specific Requirements (may vary by facility):

• Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current

Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and voluntary benefits. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreements and employment status. The pay range for this role is $21.00 to $26.39 per hour. The final starting salary will be determined at the time of hire based on factors such as experience, education, and credentials.
