Avamere Olympic Rehab in Sequim, WA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care per the resident's plan. Full-time and per diem shifts are available with a wage of $23.50–$30/hour depending on experience.

Primary duties include assisting residents with daily needs, maintaining a warm and supportive environment, and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure quality care. A valid CNA license in WA and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Washington CNA license active and in good standing.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required.
• Compassion for residents and passion for quality care.

Responsibilities

• Check residents routinely to ensure personal care needs are met per wishes.
• Review care plans daily to determine changes in routine.
• Inform nurse supervisor of changes to update care plan.
• Assist residents with daily needs and transportation to appointments.
• Create an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, calm and cheerful environment.
• Ensure rooms are ready and residents feel comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys by government agencies.
• Communicate resident information to charge nurses, DON, and/or administrator.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility as a Certified Nursing Assistant is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

• Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes.
• Review resident care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident's daily care routine have been made on the care plan.
• Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition so that appropriate information can be entered on the resident's care plan.
• Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments.
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environment.
• Ensure residents' rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
• Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Have a 10th grade education or above
• Be a licensed certified nursing assistant in this state
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment
• Have a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents
