Job summary

Avamere Rehab of Burien in Burien, WA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) PRN to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with resident care plans.

You will assist residents with daily activities, communicate with nursing staff, and participate in care planning to ensure a warm, patient-focused environment.

Must hold WA CNA license and CPR/BLS, with at least a high school education. Wage range is $23.50–$31.00 per hour with $1 shift diff for Evening and $2 for Night shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensed CNA in the state of Washington required.
• CPR/BLS certification must be active during employment.
• 10th grade education or above per job requirements.
• Passion for caregiving and improving residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Check residents' personal care needs to ensure comfort and safety.
• Review care plans daily and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with daily activities and mobility.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities.
• Maintain a warm, patient, cheerful environment for residents.
• Communicate resident information clearly to charge nurses and administrators.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility as a Certified Nursing Assistant is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties And Job Responsibilities

• Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes
• Review resident care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident's daily care
• routine have been made on the care plan
• Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition so that
• appropriate information can be entered on the resident's care plan
• Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environment
• Ensure residents' rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies
• Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator

Requirements and Qualifications

• Have a 10th grade education or above
• Be a licensed certified nursing assistant in this state
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment
• Have a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents
