Job summary

BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington, and Woburn is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily living assistance and compassionate care in a supportive, family-like environment. Responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, and mobility, taking vital signs, reporting health changes, and maintaining a clean, safe setting.

CNA certification, CPR, and SAMM training are required; 1 year CNA preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification – required.
• High school diploma or GED – required.
• CPR certification – required.
• Current physical exam and TB test (within 12 months) – required.
• At least 1 year of CNA experience – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding).
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Help with mobility and transfers using wheelchairs, walkers, and lifts.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Follow infection control practices, facility protocols, and HIPAA guidelines.
