Job description

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - PRN/Per Diem Night Shift

Pay: $20 per hour

Location: Miami, FL

At Select Medical’s Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals, you will provide compassionate care to chronically and critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care. Our team of over 50,000 people across the country delivers quality care to approximately 70,000 patients each day.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care for patients in a timely manner.
• Participate in hourly patient rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly, including making beds.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma/equivalent OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or related field such as medical assistant or active nursing student.

Eligible nursing students may be considered as nurse assistants if approved by the State Practice Act.
