Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Miami is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Miami, FL for PRN/Per Diem shifts (12-hour days/nights). Compensation is $22 per hour.

The hospital provides oriented onboarding and opportunities for advancement within a world-class inpatient post-ICU setting that serves chronic, critically ill patients. As a CNA, you will assist with patient care activities such as bathing, feeding and mobility during hourly rounds and help transport patients when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products and providing oral hygiene, oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers; assist transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs and other instruments/equipment.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
