Job summary

The Greens at Erwin in Erwin, Tennessee is seeking compassionate CNAs for PRN Day Shift positions. Join a Great Place to Work-certified facility dedicated to resident-centered care and a supportive team environment.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily activities, support nursing staff, and help maintain safety and dignity. Training is available for new CNAs, with flexible scheduling and opportunities to pick up additional shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Current CNA Certification in the State of Tennessee.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• New CNAs are welcome – we are willing to train!
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Assist RNs and LPNs in meeting residents' individual care needs.
• Maintain safety, dignity, and comfort of residents.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and mobility as needed.
• Observe residents and communicate changes to the nursing team.
• Build positive relationships with residents and families.
• Follow facility policies and infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, and other care team members.

Position Details

• PRN / As Needed

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• 12-Hour Shifts

• Flexible PRN Scheduling

• Additional shifts may be available based on facility needs

What You’ll Do

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will work alongside our nursing team to provide compassionate, hands-on care to our residents.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

• Assist RNs and LPNs in meeting residents’ individual care needs

• Help maintain the safety, dignity, comfort, and well-being of residents

• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility as needed

• Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team

• Build positive and respectful relationships with residents and families

• Follow facility policies, procedures, and infection‑control guidelines

• Work collaboratively with nurses, CNAs, and other members of the care team

Qualifications

• Current CNA Certification in the State of Tennessee

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus

• New CNAs are welcome – we are willing to train!
