Job summary

The Greens at Erwin in Erwin, Tennessee is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PRN Day Shift. Join a compassionate care team that values residents and staff, in a Great Place to Work environment with flexible scheduling and on-site support.

As a CNA, you will assist with daily living activities, support RNs and LPNs, and help maintain safety and dignity for residents. Training is provided for new CNAs, with opportunities for growth within the facility.

Qualifications

• Current CNA Certification in the State of Tennessee.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus.
• New CNAs are welcome – we are willing to train!
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist RNs and LPNs in meeting residents’ individual care needs.
• Help maintain the safety, dignity, comfort, and well-being of residents.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility as needed.
• Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Build positive and respectful relationships with residents and families.

Position Details

• PRN / As Needed
• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 12-Hour Shifts
• Flexible PRN Scheduling
• Additional shifts may be available based on facility needs

What You’ll Do

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will work alongside our nursing team to provide compassionate, hands-on care to our residents.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Assist RNs and LPNs in meeting residents’ individual care needs
• Help maintain the safety, dignity, comfort, and well-being of residents
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility as needed
• Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team
• Build positive and respectful relationships with residents and families
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and infection-control guidelines
• Work collaboratively with nurses, CNAs, and other members of the care team
