St. Andrew Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Tampa, FL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care to residents and support the nursing team in a skilled nursing setting.

You will assist with bathing, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and ensuring a safe, person-centered environment while working closely with nurses and the interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes dignity, residents’ preferences, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current, unencumbered CNA certification in the state of Tennessee.
• Experience in long-term care/skilled nursing is preferred, but training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics and equipment.
• Measure and record vital signs, intake and output, and other observations as directed.
• Accurately document care provided and promptly report changes in resident condition to the nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean, home-like environment for residents, families, and visitors.
• Support residents' dignity, preferences, and independence per care plans.
• Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to meet resident needs.
