Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in daily living activities (bed, bathing, dressing, eating)
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents for comfort

Hours

This is a part time position, and we are hiring for the Evenings Shift - 2 PM to 10 PM.

***The shift hours depend upon your availability and the needs of the facility.

Wages and Benefits

• Hourly range of $16-19
• If you are not yet certified, Parkdale Health and Rehab will pay for your nursing assistant certification (valued at over $500)
• CNAs can participate in our Nursing Tuition Reimbursement and get $500/month applied towards a nursing program.

Training

• On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience

Job Duties

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs

• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
