Job summary

Parkdale Health and Rehab is a skilled nursing facility in Price, UT, seeking a dedicated CNA to join our team on the swing shift (2 PM–10 PM). This full-time role offers on-the-job training, a supportive environment, and opportunities to grow with residents who require 24/7 care.

Requirements include current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days, plus strong communication with coworkers and residents and a commitment to learning applicable long-term care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employment.
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents.
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs.
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed.
• Provide physical support to assist residents in daily living activities (bed mobility, bathing, eating, dressing, bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising).
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet.
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary.
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable.
