Responsibilities
  1. Assist licensed nursing personnel in providing nursing care, under supervision.
  2. Participate as a member of the healthcare team following standards and authorized duties for CNAs.
  3. Assist with clerical functions, housekeeping, and patient transportation within the hospital.
  4. Provide delegated patient care, organize and adapt care plans, and encourage patient independence.
  5. Recognize and respond to abnormal signs and symptoms, and document appropriately.
  6. Maintain a safe environment, use infection control procedures, and recognize emergencies.
Qualifications

Maintain current certification, perform within legal and scope of practice, and demonstrate ongoing competency in technical skills.
