Join us at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time night shift position with benefits. Located at HARTWYCK @ OAK TREE INC, Edison, New Jersey.

Our team members are central to our success. We focus on providing exceptional resident care, following care plans, and adhering to all documentation and facility policies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care per the Patient Care Plan, including ROM exercises, ambulation, transfer training, feeding assistance, hygiene, skin checks, vital signs, and more.
  • Identify and report potential or actual problems in patient care.
  • Ensure residents use adaptive equipment as ordered and are well-groomed, safe, and fed.
  • Complete all required documentation and reports in compliance with regulations.
  • Record intake/output and bowel movements.
  • Report changes in patient condition promptly to the Charge Nurse.
  • Participate in committees and ongoing patient needs assessments.
  • Maintain professional competence through continuing education.
  • Foster positive relationships with team members, patients, families, and visitors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an approved CNA program.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Current CE requirements met.
  • Professional clinical care skills.
  • Patient advocacy and team role modeling.
  • Efficient and timely patient care delivery.
Preferred Skills
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in long-term care and rehabilitation settings.
  • Experience with geriatric and disabled populations.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
Licenses and Certifications
  • NJ CNA License.
