Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate, resident-centered care under RN/LPN or Memory Care leadership. The role includes vital sign checks, assistance with daily living, and memory care support in a warm, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include documenting assessments, supporting activity of daily living, and promoting resident rights while ensuring safety and dignity. CNA certification is required where state regulations demand it.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Area of Study: Clinical/Nursing
• Years of Experience: 1+ years
• Special Certifications: CNA licensure depending on state requirements and regulations
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English to perform job duties and respond to emergencies
• Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort services, and activities of daily living.
• Provide compassionate care for residents with dementia.
• Transfer, position, and turn residents.
• Provide skin care to residents.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the plan of care.
• Provide nursing rehabilitation/restorative services.
• Follow the schedule of resident needs set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Promote resident rights and respect independence while protecting personal belongings.

Job Description

Pay Rate $19.00 per hour

• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
• Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor.
• Assist as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Provide compassionate care for residents with dementia.
• Transfer, position, and turn residents.
• Provide skin care to residents.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the plan of care.
• Provide nursing rehabilitation/restorative nursing services.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Promote and protect resident rights, assist residents in making informed decisions, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident’s personal belongings, report suspected abuse or neglect, avoid the need for physical restraints in accordance with the current professional standards, and support independent expression, choice, and decision‑making consistent with applicable law and regulation.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality.

Qualifications

Level of Formal Education: A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
