Job summary

Empro-Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support a nursing home in Medford, NY 11763. Shifts run 7AM-3PM with full-time and part-time options. Base pay is $24 per hour with overtime at $36 per hour, and weekly pay every Thursday.

You must have an active NYS CNA license and be able to work every other weekend; in-person interview is required. Benefits include health insurance after 90 days, 401(k) after 8 months, up to 56 hours of sick time per year, Short-Term Disability,

Responsibilities

• Geriatric care support and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, meal assistance
• Perform patient transfers using mechanical lifts, positioning and ambulation assistance
• Record vitals and nutritional intake in electronic health records (EHR)
• Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to maintain a safe healthcare environment
• Support nursing and medical staff in delivering quality patient care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment with infection control protocols
• Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and staff
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance patient care skills

Agency CNA – $24/hr (Weekly Pay / Every Thursday)

Location: MEDFORD, NY 11763 (Nursing Home facility)
Base Pay: $24 / hour
Overtime Pay: $36 / hour
Available Shift: 7AM-3PM (Day) - Full-Time & Part-Time hours available!

Mandatory Requirements (No Exceptions)

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Geriatric Care Support: Deliver compassionate, high-quality bedside care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Resident Personal Care: Assist with patient bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, continuous rounding, meal assistance, and dignified personal care needs.
• Patient Transfers: Safely perform mechanical lifts, positioning, turning, and ambulation transfers for long‑term care and sub‑acute rehab residents. Provide mobility assistance, including transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other locations.
• Clinical Charting: Monitor and record patient vitals, nutritional intake, and behavioral changes into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Floor Collaboration: Coordinate with staff Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to maintain a seamless healthcare environment.
• Support nursing and medical staff in the delivery of quality patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
• Build positive relationships with patients, families, and staff to foster a supportive environment.
• Participate in training and ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
