Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant CNA-I to join our team. You will provide daily care and support to residents and patients, helping with activities of daily living and monitoring health needs.

We offer full-time, part-time and PRN positions with 8- or 12-hour shifts. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available for newly hired CNA-Is who start by September 30, 2026. Compensation ranges from $18.50 to $23.00 per hour, with additional benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed CNA - I in good standing with the state
• Must hold Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certification in Maryland
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Reliable transportation required

Position Summary

We are seeking a caring and empathetic Certified Nursing Assistant CNA - I to join our team. As a CNA - I you will play a vital role in providing the highest level of daily care and support to our residents and patients.

Posted Salary Range

USD $18.50 - USD $23.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assistance with bathing
• Changing linens
• Properly positioning patients
• Offering hydration
• Checking in on patients in the morning and night
• Taking/ recording vital signs
• CNA - I may perform other/similar duties as assigned by the nursing department when necessary

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be a licensed CNA - I in good standing with the state (as required)
• Must hold Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of Maryland
• Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language
• CNA - I must be a caring individuals dedicated to providing high quality care to our residents/patients
• Reliable transportation required
