Job summary

One You Love Homecare Southeast Charlotte seeks a compassionate CNA to provide hands-on personal care and companionship in clients' homes, helping them live safely, comfortably, and independently. Your training enables you to be a trusted presence for clients and their families, serving as the first line of observation when health changes occur.

You will follow care plans, maintain infection control protocols, and coordinate with the care team to ensure high-quality, individualized home care

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Aide I listing in good standing (required).
• CPR certification preferred (we can help you obtain it).
• Experience in home care, long-term care, hospital, or related setting is a plus; new CNAs welcome to apply.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and fall prevention.
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team promptly.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to the care plan.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and infection control protocols.
• Remind clients to take medications as scheduled (non-medical role).
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities when needed.
• Clock in/out and document tasks accurately and on time.

• Follow care plans and infection control protocols.
• Remind clients to take medications as scheduled (non-medical role; no administration).
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities when needed.
• Clock in and out and document all tasks accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Aide I listing in good standing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry (required).
• Current CPR certification preferred (we can help you obtain it).
• Prior experience in home care, long-term care, hospital, or related setting is a plus. New CNAs are welcome to apply.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional, with strong communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical transfers.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
