Job summary

One You Love Homecare Rockwall - Heath is seeking a CNA to provide hands-on personal care and companionship to clients in their homes, helping them live safely and independently. You will rely on training and professional judgment to be a trusted presence for clients and families, acting as the first line of observation when something changes.

The role emphasizes a patient-centered approach, flexible days/evenings/overnights, and a premium rate for certified staff.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Aide I listing in good standing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry (required).
• Current CPR certification preferred (we can help you obtain it).
• Prior experience in home care, long-term care, hospital, or related setting is a plus. New CNAs are welcome to apply.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Assist with mobility, safe transfers, positioning, and fall prevention.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition, mood, or safety to the care team promptly.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, following dietary guidelines in the care plan.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and infection control protocols.
• Remind clients to take medications as scheduled (non-medical role; no administration).
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities when needed.
• Clock in and out and document all tasks accurately and on time.
