Job summary

Select Medical in Omaha, NE is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time night shifts. You will provide compassionate patient care, assist with daily living activities, and support treatment teams in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience (3+ years)
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Experience as a nursing assistant or related field/certification as CNA

Responsibilities

• Perform patient bathing using basin-less products and assist with oral hygiene and feeding
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly
• Maintain stock levels of supplies and equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned

Schedule: Fulltime - Nights / 12-hour shiftsCompensation: $20.51-25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
