Select Specialty Hospital in Gainesville, FL is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time day shifts. The role supports patient bathing, oral care and hair care, with hourly rounds and patient transport as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of related experience)
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital CNA experience or related field certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, and hair care for patients.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers as needed and assist transporters with move in/out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly, restock supplies as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
