Job summary

UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for DAY shifts. This inpatient rehabilitation setting focuses on brain and spinal injuries, neurological disorders, and other conditions, with a strong emphasis on compassionate care and teamwork.

The role includes obtaining vital signs, assisting with daily activities, feeding patients, turning immobile patients, transporting to treatments, and answering call lights.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in the state of Florida.
• Certified BLS or completion within 90 days of employment.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, grooming).
• Deliver meals and assist patients who cannot feed themselves; document oral intake.
• Turn and position immobile patients; participate in mobility program.
• Respond to patient call lights and provide services that support physical well-being.
• Transport patients to designated areas for treatments.

Compensation: $18.05 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Minimum Qualifications
