Select Specialty Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA/CNA/ Patient Care Tech) for the Quad Cities location. This full-time day and night shift offers 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The role supports post-ICU care for critically ill patients, with orientation, RN scholarships, tuition reimbursement, and a clinical ladder to advance skills. Benefits include a comprehensive health plan, PTO, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA or related field.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less products and assisting with care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelschairs, and instruments.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Full-time Day & Night Shift Available- 3 12 hour shifts per week with rotating weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
