Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, IA is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN / Per Diem Night Shift (12-hour shifts) at $20.00 per hour, with night/weekend differentials. This is a critical illness recovery hospital emphasizing compassionate, high-quality inpatient care.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Bath patients using basin-less methods; assist with oral hygiene and feeding.
• Conduct hourly rounds and monitor patient needs.
• Assist with transporting patients to treatment centers and help move them in/out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments, bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patient rooms clean and stocked.
• Support unit supply levels and assist with other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
