Job summary

Salinas Valley Post Acute is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time role in Salinas, CA. The successful candidate will join a resident-centered clinical team and provide essential daily care with compassion and professionalism.

Starting pay ranges from $21 to $25 per hour, based on experience, with a 4/2 schedule (4 days on, 2 days off) and day, evening, and night shifts. Full-time benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO, holiday pay, retirement plan options,

Qualifications

• Active California CNA certification required.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Take and record vital signs and note clinical data as directed.
• Assist with meal service, hydration, and ensuring residents’ comfort.
• Report changes in resident condition promptly to nursing leadership.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized care areas in compliance with infection control protocols.

Your Impact & Responsibilities:

As a CNA, you will provide essential daily care that ensures our residents live with dignity and comfort.

• Personal Care: Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Clinical Support: Take and record vital signs, weights, and other clinical data.
• Nutrition: Assist with meal service, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Communication: Promptly report any changes in resident condition to the nursing leadership.
• Environment: Maintain clean, safe, and organized care areas while following all infection control protocols.
