Job summary

PAM Health Wiregrass Ranch is opening a brand-new rehabilitation hospital this fall and seeks a dedicated CNA to support patient care from the start. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for continuing education within a supportive team environment.

As a CNA, you will perform patient care activities under supervision, assist with daily living tasks, and follow hospital policies to ensure safe, compassionate care. Certification and BLS are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA certification as required by state where hospital resides.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living under supervision.
• Provide patient care within hospital policies and guidelines.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: None required. A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
