Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wiregrass Ranch in Wesley Chapel, Florida is opening a brand-new rehabilitation facility this fall. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist with patient care under supervision, contributing to a high-quality start-up environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA certification as required by state, and current BLS. Prior acute care experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Certification as a CNA where required by state.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• None or minimal experience; 2–3 years in acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under supervision of a Registered Nurse or LVN/LPN.
• Do not administer medications or therapies.
• Follow PAM Health policies and collaborate with the care team to support patient recovery.

Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.

Experience: None required. A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
