Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wiregrass Ranch in Wesley Chapel, FL is opening a brand-new rehabilitation facility this fall. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the team and help shape patient care from the ground up.

The CNA will perform patient care activities under nurse supervision, without independent responsibility for medications or therapy. BLS certification is required, and prior hospital or rehab experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Nurse.
• Does not administer medications or therapies.
• Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: None required. A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
