Job summary

Encore at Foulk in Wilmington, Delaware is hiring full-time Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.) for day shift in our skilled nursing department. The position pays $19–$22.50 per hour.

C.N.A.s assist residents with daily living activities according to care plans, maintain a safe, clean environment, document care, and communicate changes to the nurse promptly. Delaware CNA certification and CPR card are required.

Qualifications

• Current State of Delaware C.N.A. Certificate.
• Current CPR Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows residents to function at their highest level of independence, including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Communicates changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.
• Performs assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
• Accountable for completion of CNA documentation including progress notes, meals, fluids, bowel sheet, and ADLs.
• Communicates with residents, families and co-workers utilizing a pleasant positive approach.
• Respects Residents' Rights for Privacy and Dignity.

Encore at Foulk is currently hiring for FT Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.) for full-time day shift in our skilled nursing department.

$19-22.50 hr

C.N.A.'s will perform duties that assist the professional nurses in providing care to residents according to their individualized care plan and facility policies and procedures. With emphasis on a restorative philosophy, C.N.A.'s perform duties that assist the resident with their activities of daily living and enhance their quality of life.
