Cypress Healthcare and Rehabilitation seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and provide high-quality care.

You will work under the charge nurse to ensure timely ADLs, participate in shift reports, and follow infection control guidelines while maintaining a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Current CNA certification.

Responsabilités

• Participate in shift reports.
• Perform routine patient care in accordance with nursing policies and procedures.
• Employ preventative and restorative measures.
• Follow infection control guidelines during patient care.
• Reports promptly any change of patient condition to the supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Inventory drugs on designated forms.
• Participates in training and meetings.

Job Summary

Certified Nursing Assistant will be under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The charge nurse will follow up with the CNA to ensure the ADL's are completed timely and accurately to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing.

Previous patient care experience preferred.

Current certification.

CLINICAL

Participate in Shift Report.

Perform routine patient care in accordance with Federal, State, Company and Center nursing policies and procedures.

Employs preventative and restorative measures.

Follows hand washing techniques and other infection control guidelines during the performance of patient care.

ADMINISTRATIVE

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder, etc.
• Participates in all assigned meetings.
• Participates in all training, education or in-service as required.
• Inventory drugs, on the designated forms, as they arrive.
