Job summary

Crestway Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team. You will provide quality resident care, perform routine nursing tasks, and help ensure safety and comfort for residents.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 7A-11P. Full-time benefits include 401(k), dental, health, life, and vision insurance. A minimum of 6 months CNA experience or clinical exposure during training is required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience while enrolled in a CNA certification program.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and at regular intervals to provide care.
• Verify resident identity before administering care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to the admission coordinator.
• Make beds and ensure clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Keep water pitchers clean and within resident reach.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• A minimum of 6 months experience as a certified nursing assistant or clinical experience while enrolled in a nursing assistant certification class.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: GENERAL

• Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility’s established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident’s reach.
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
