Job summary

Voorhees Pediatric Facility is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our clinical/nursing team. You will work full-time, 36 hours per week across 3 x 12-hour shifts, providing compassionate care to medically fragile children and young adults under RN supervision.

The role requires a New Jersey CNA license, CPR certification, and preferably 1 year of long-term care experience. Night shift differential applies. A $1,500 new hire sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• CNA licensure in New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification (AHA/ARC accepted).
• Minimum one year long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feeding, dressing and bathing patients.
• Respond promptly to requests from patients and families.
• Perform housekeeping duties and ensure clean patient rooms.
• Support timely care aligned with schedules.

Voorhees Pediatric Facility provides a nurturing and home-like atmosphere filled with attentive and dedicated staff. All staff will work collaboratively to support residents with significant medical complexities and potential cognitive impairments. Under the direction of a licensed practical nurse and registered professional nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant will support holistic care to a medically-fragile community of infants, children, adolescents and young adults.

Daily tasks will include:

• Feeding, dressing and bathing patients
• Responding with prompt courtesy to requests of patients and their families, and to other members of the healthcare team
• Housekeeping duties, including linens and waste disposal and general upkeep of patient rooms
• Ensuring patients are cared for in a timely manner in respect to individual schedules

Position Requirements:

• Current New Jersey C.N.A licensure
• Current/Active CPR Certification (only AHA or ARC are accepted; certification must include cognitive and skills training).
• One year Long-Term Care experience, preferred

• Excellent timekeeping skills
• Ability to manage demands of multiple residents with prompt attention and care.

• Candidate must be able to assist with patient lifting, turning, repositioning and transfers
