Napa Valley Care Center in Napa, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the AM shift to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Active California CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, mobility).
• Provide resident-centered care promoting dignity and independence.
• Monitor residents and report changes to licensed staff.
• Record vital signs and related information as assigned.

Caring for Seniors CNA Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care that promotes dignity and independence
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff
• Record vital signs and resident information as assigned
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritional support
• Respond promptly to resident call lights
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment
• Accurately document care provided
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Support residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, Post-Acute Care, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• New graduates and newly certified CNAs encouraged to apply
