Job summary

Napa Valley Care Center in Napa, CA is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the PM Shift to provide compassionate, resident-centered care and support to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor and document vital signs, help with meals, and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure safety and well-being. This role offers part-time and full-time options with evening shift opportunities and competitive pay in the Napa area.

Qualifications

• California CNA certification is required.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and mobility.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care that promotes dignity, comfort and independence.
• Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to licensed nursing staff.
• Take and document vital signs as assigned.
• Assist with meals, hydration and nutritional support.
• Respond quickly and respectfully to resident call lights.
• Maintain accurate documentation and care records.
• Help create a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Support residents' physical, emotional and social well-being.

CNA Responsibilities
