Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking passionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing nursing team in Trenton, NJ. As a CNA you will provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff.

This position is part‑time or per diem.

We are hiring for

• Part‑time 7am-3pm and weekends

Pay Rates

• $18.13 - $24.13 per hour
• $19.94 - $26.54 per hour – MaxPay Program. Inquire during interview for program details.

Job Requirements

• Current and valid CNA certification in the state of NJ
• Previous experience in long term care or healthcare preferred
• Compassionate, resident‑centered care approach
• Strong observation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist residents with mobility
• Dependable, punctual and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional care to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and exercise programs
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and other health indicators
• Observe residents' physical and emotional condition and report any concerns to supervisors
• Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including making beds and changing linens
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges and transfers while ensuring comfort
• Document care provided accurately in medical records and charts
• Communicate effectively with residents, facilities and other team members
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and urgent needs
