Job summary

NewCourtland in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our on-site team. You will provide direct patient care based on individualized plans and help residents with daily living activities.

The role requires a PA CNA training, a high school diploma, and at least two years of personal care experience; long-term care preferred. You will document changes, protect residents' rights and collaborate with the nursing staff.

Description

What You’ll Do:

Provide direct care to residents based on individualized care plans

Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting, and hygiene

What You Bring:

High school diploma or equivalent; functional literacy required

Completion of a PA state-approved CNA training and competency program

Active listing on the PA Nurse Aide Registry, free of abuse/misconduct findings

Minimum of 2 years experience providing personal care; long-term care preferred

Patience, empathy, and professionalism in a team environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with resident transfers

Work includes standing, bending, pushing, and moving throughout the facility

Must be able to work in a healthcare environment with moderate noise and frequent exposure to cleaning agents and bodily fluids
