Job summary

NewCourtland in Philadelphia is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on care that supports residents' dignity, comfort, and independence. You will deliver direct care based on each resident's plan of care and collaborate with the nursing team.

The role emphasizes observation, documentation, and respectful daily living assistance, with a team approach to ensure resident-centered care and safe, supportive environments.

Qualifications

• Completion of Pennsylvania state-approved CNA training and competency program.
• Active listing on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry, free of abuse or misconduct findings.
• Experience providing personal care; long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and assist residents safely.

Responsibilities

The Work You’ll Do

As a CNA, you’ll provide hands‑on care and support that helps residents live with dignity, comfort, and as much independence as possible. You’ll:

• Provide direct care based on each resident’s individual needs and plan of care.
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meals, and personal care.
• Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team.

• Document the care you provide.
