Job summary

The Tremont Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Wareham, MA is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for full-time and part-time roles on all shifts, including every-other-weekend rotation. Earn $26 to $29 per hour, with shift differentials applicable across shifts.

As a CNA, you will provide routine daily nursing care per established procedures under licensed staff direction, supporting residents and contributing to quality care in a 4-star facility.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active and unencumbered CNA license in Massachusetts, be in the process of obtaining one, or have recently successfully completed a CNA program.
• CPR certification preferred, but not necessary.
• New graduates welcome!

Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
• Participate in planning and following current resident care plan on all residents under your care.
• Complete resident assignments effectively and promptly.
• Observe changes in resident conditions and promptly report them.
• Document accurately and completely.
• Meet personal grooming needs for each resident.
• Promptly answer call lights and assure that all are placed within reach of the resident.
• Assure the resident care areas are left clean and in an orderly manner.
• Methods of identification of residents are maintained.
• Demonstrate correct safety techniques in accord with orientation and training processes of Athena and your specific job description.
• Other duties assigned by manager.

Join our dynamic care team at The Tremont Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Wareham, Massachusetts, a 4-star nursing home, as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)! We are seeking full-time and part-time openings on all shifts, including an every other weekend rotation, with a rate of $26 to $29 an hour, depending on the shift. This rate includes shift differentials, which are applicable to all shifts.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at The Tremont Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center, your primary purpose is to provide your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with our established nursing care procedures, and as may be directed by the licensed staff nurse.

Experience & Education:

Specific Requirements:

• Must have knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies and utilize appropriately.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
• Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations.
