Visiting Angels of Reading is currently looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to work in and around Berks and Northern Chester County. We offer part-time and full-time positions with day, evening, and overnight shifts.

Applicants MUST have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months experience caring for seniors or disabled adults. Reliable transportation is a MUST, and reliability and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months caregiving experience for seniors or disabled adults.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Reliability and professionalism are important.
• Must enjoy assisting others.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus.
• CNA is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care (oral care, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming).
• Provide medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, vacuuming).
• Plan, prepare and serve meals.
• Assist with transfers, walking and activity.
• Help with transportation to appointments and activities.
• Provide companionship and positive support at all times.
