Job summary

Visiting Angels of Reading is hiring CNAs to support clients across Reading and nearby communities. You will provide compassionate in-home care, assist with activities of daily living, prepare meals, and ensure safety during errands and appointments.

The role emphasizes flexibility, reliable transportation, and a commitment to improving quality of life for seniors and disabled adults in a local area.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 6 months experience caring for seniors or disabled adults.
Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Good time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
Comfort with housekeeping and cooking within dietary constraints.
Willing to comply with state and office health and safety standards.
Compassion, understanding, and desire to brighten each client’s day.

Responsibilities

CNA Nurse Aide Job Requirements:

MUST have high school diploma or equivalent
MINIMUM of 6 months experience in caring for Seniors and/or Disabled Adults professionally or personally.
Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
